How QANAQ Club collects, uses and protects your information — aligned with GDPR and global data-protection standards. This page is a template and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before launch.
This website and the QANAQ Club membership network are operated by QANAQ Dan. İnş. Med. A.Ş. ("QANAQ", "we", "us"). For the purposes of applicable data-protection law — including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) — QANAQ Dan. İnş. Med. A.Ş. acts as the data controller. You can reach us regarding any data-protection matter at contact@qanaq.club.
We collect information you provide directly — for example when you submit a pre-qualification or contact request: company name, year founded, headquarters, website, sub-club of interest, your name, title and email address, and anything else you choose to include.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, through cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookie Policy below).
We use your information to review membership pre-qualification requests, to respond to and communicate with you, to operate, secure and improve the website, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects without human review.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (e.g. non-essential cookies; submitting a request); our legitimate interests in operating and securing the network and assessing suitability; performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; and compliance with legal obligations.
We share information only as needed with our management board, general secretariat and directorate to assess and administer membership, and with vetted service providers (e.g. hosting, email, analytics) acting on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law.
QANAQ operates across multiple countries, including offices in Türkiye, Italy, Germany, Slovenia and Nigeria. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent measures recognised under applicable law.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, to maintain membership records, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact contact@qanaq.club. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our measures regularly.
